Jeff Tech Teacher of the Year
Jeff Tech is pleased to announce Melissa Mulhollan as our 2016-17 Teacher of the Year!
Left to right—Glen Thompson, Judy Mulhollan, Matthew Mulhollan, Brian Mulhollan, Melissa Mulhollan, Megan Mulhollan and Carol Thompson.
Mrs. Mulhollan has spent 26 years at Jeff Tech teaching English Language Arts. Students in Mrs. Mulhollan’s class experience her unique blend of high expectations, compassion and unyielding belief that all students can succeed. Her ability to connect with students goes beyond the content she teaches. They know that she values them and believes in them. Entering her classroom you instantly notice the inspirational quotes on the wall and the big bucket of uplifting individual messages she routinely hands to students. There is no doubt she believes in students and Jeff Tech. Additionally, she serves as a member of the Building Leadership Team and as a mentor for new teachers. She is an effective leader of her peers. Her willingness to look for new methods and to constantly improve her own practices have not only made her own class better but Jeff Tech as a whole. She has been part of many initiatives at school that have involved the community and parents. We are thankful for all of her efforts and her huge impact on students over the years.
